GRANADA TANGO

I want to share my passion for Tango

ABOUT GRANADA TANGO

Granada Tango was created to enjoy Tango, reunions, friendships, joy, and above all, to share it with people who are just as passionate and enthusiastic about this dance.

At every event I attend, I am filled with affection and happiness when I see people I hadn’t seen in a long time or meet new ones. For me, it is deeply rewarding to talk, dance, and share moments with each person present, with every dancer, and with all Tango enthusiasts.

When I return home, I am overwhelmed with gratitude and happiness for everything I experienced and shared during those trips. I have had the joy of attending Tango gatherings in Málaga, Benidorm, Jerez de la Frontera, Alicante, Calpe, Oviedo, Murcia, Seville, Candás (Asturias), and Pamplona. Each one has been a beautiful, warm experience full of affection, passion for music, and love for the dance.

ABOUT ME

Elisabeth Arjona Ramos

My name is Elisabeth Arjona. I have been living in Granada for about 15 years, and I am the proud mother of a 13-year-old son whom I adore.

My story began a few years ago when I saw an ad for Tango lessons. Since I have always been passionate about ballroom dancing, I decided to give it a try.

At first, learning Tango was very challenging because it requires a lot of technique, knowledge, and the ability to apply it correctly in the dance. Although it felt complicated at the beginning, as I kept learning and dancing with different partners and leaders, I discovered a beautiful feeling in every embrace. Each person transmits different sensations and emotions. I could say that every time I dance with someone, it feels like a new journey, surprising, full of joy, and passion for the music and the steps.

After several years of learning and enjoying this dance, I began traveling to different cities in Spain. This made my passion for Tango grow even more, not only for the music and the dance itself, but also for everything that comes with traveling.

When I travel, I meet wonderful people from all over Spain, each with very different lives from mine, and sometimes with similar ones. What unites us is this passion for Tango and the incredible feelings that come with it. Each trip becomes a reunion with friends, full of passion, happiness, fun, and of course, the opportunity to meet more people and keep sharing the joy and emotions that Tango brings.

On many of these trips, I often heard people say that they would love to visit Granada, to enjoy the city, the Alhambra, and all the special corners this place has to offer.

That’s when I thought: why not create a Tango gathering in Granada? A meeting where we could not only explore and enjoy one of the most beautiful cities in Spain, but also share the dance, the music, and the passion for Tango together.
