Pepa is a well-known Tango DJ with over ten years of experience. Her musical selections combine a solid background from a Higher Conservatory of Music with a deep understanding of tango as a dance-driven musical language.

She has DJed milongas, festivals, and marathons across Argentina and Europe, and is known for her musical sensitivity, coherent tandas, and a refined reading of the dance floor.

When I DJ a milonga, my main goal is to connect with the dancers, creating an atmosphere that inspires the desire to dance and enjoy. Every DJ brings their own sensitivity and approach, adapting to the venue, the dancers, and the energy on the floor.

For me, the best tangos I can offer in a milonga are those that combine a solid rhythmic base with a deep emotional charge. It is essential to select music of the highest quality in order to guide and inspire the dancers.

At the end of each milonga, my aim is for dancers to leave with a memorable night in their hearts, with tangos still resonating in their minds and the sweet memory of the experiences they lived.

I am passionate about Tango, with more than 20 years of experience as a DJ and cultural promoter. I was part of the revitalization of Club Villa Malcolm and worked at Confitería Ideal, Club Independencia, and renowned milongas such as La Viruta, El Beso, and Caning. Since 2012, I have been the Artistic Director at Racing Club, and I have participated in UniTango & Beach festivals since 2001.

I have taken my DJ sets to international stages and share my knowledge through courses and talks. Featured in the documentary “La vida es una Milonga”, in 2002 I founded the UniTango Orchestra, consolidating my commitment to Tango culture.

Silverio Maquiera is a tango DJ and a founding member of the GARÚA Friends of Tango Association. He has built an outstanding career performing at milongas, festivals, and national and international tango gatherings. His style combines sensitivity, respect for milonga tradition, elegance, and energy, creating an authentic atmosphere in which to enjoy tango.

I came to Tango through dance, but over the years I immersed myself in the orchestras, their stories, and the effect they have on the energy of the milonga. I enjoy observing the dance floor and choosing the music that best accompanies the dancers in each moment.

The milonga is like a blank canvas where, together with those who dance, we create an experience full of emotion.

I aim for every tanda to invite people to dance, with a selection focused on the great orchestras of the Golden Age and their most popular and danceable pieces.

Always with the intention of creating a journey of energies… and never forgetting the festive cortinas to keep the party alive!

I discovered Tango at the age of 15 in my hometown, and in 2001 I moved to Buenos Aires to refine my skills with great masters. In 2005, I was crowned World Champion of Tango de Salón, beginning an international career that has allowed me to share my art across Asia, the Americas, Europe, and beyond.

As a DJ, I enjoy creating vibrant atmospheres with carefully selected music, connecting with the audience, and keeping the essence of Tango alive. See you on the dance floor to share this passion together!
